Smeaton's Fishing

All the pegs are easily accessible and some can be reached by car, enabling those with physical impairments to enjoy their fishing.

With all year fishing on the lakes and day and night tickets available, Smeaton's Lakes is an angler's paradise.

       So called because of their shape, these are stocked with pike, such as
'Big Terry'  and coarse fish in abundance, including numerous roach.

 

        Stocked with common, mirror and leather carp, the larger, stronger fish in this specialist carp lake will keep the most demanding fisherman busy for a while.
 

        These coarse lakes contains a plethora of species such as bream, chub, small carp, perch, roach, rudd, tench and orf. A really mixed keep net full.

        There are 7 pegs along the river, which is noted for barbel, bream, chub and carp.
